ITX fully recognizes the importance of and requirements associated with personal information, and strives to protect it in accordance with the following protective policies.

1. Acquisition of personal information.

ITX utilizes fair, legal methods to acquire personal information.

2. Use of personal information.

ITX uses personal information within the following scope:
  1. (1) For mediating in the conclusion of contracts between our customers and telecommunication carriers regarding telecommunication services and after-service.
  2. (2) For mediating in the conclusion of contracts between our customers and broadcasting service providers regarding broadcasting services and after-service.
  3. (3) For providing various services through the portal site operated and managed by ITX (membership registration, mail magazine and direct mail distribution to customers, mediation for purchasing, etc.) and after-service.
  4. (4) For concluding rental service agreements between our customers and our company for equipment required to view broadcasting services from the broadcasting service providers, as well as implementation of rental services and after-service.
  5. (5) For advertising, sales promotions, and questionnaire surveys for the businesses of (3) and (4) and other telecommunication businesses operated by our company, and for sending free bonus gifts and sales promotion materials.
Please note that customer calls may be recorded to ensure that orders, opinions, requests, inquiries, etc. are accurately understood and to improve the quality of service in the future.

3. Provision of personal information to a third party.

ITX will not provide personal information to any third party without your prior consent.
However, in some cases we assign the handling of personal information to a third party. In these cases, the third party is obligated to provide personal information protection measures, and a confidentiality contract is concluded with the third party for the appropriate management of the information. We may disclose personal information to judicial and administrative bodies when requested, pursuant to applicable laws and regulations.

4. Management of personal information.

ITX manages personal information appropriately and safely.
We have established an in-house organization for preventing unauthorized accesses, loss, destruction, falsification and leakage of personal information, and we have implemented protection measures. We also periodically provide our employees with education and training regarding protecting personal information.

5. Disclosure of personal information

If you wish to have your personal information (apart from the following) disclosed, please contact the Personal Information Desk. We require documents for personal identification to be submitted, and prescribed fees will be payable.
  • Information that is only assigned to our company and that ITX has no authority to disclose.
  • Information intended for deletion within six months.

7. Formulation and operation of personal information compliance program.

ITX formulates personal information compliance programs (including the Privacy Policy, regulations for complying with the Personal Information Protection Act, and other rules and regulations) for implementing the Privacy Policy, ensures that our executives, employees and other related parties are made aware of them, implements them, and improves them continuously.
